German Chocolate Cake mix
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks (beaten)
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla.
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
Prepare cake mix as directed by the box. (It should be enough to make two round cakes)
For frosting, combine 1 cup evaporated milk, 1 cup sugar, 3 beaten egg yolks, 1/2 cup butter, & 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. (It takes a little bit, just think about the arm muscles you are getting ;-) )
Add 1 cup flaked coconut & 1 cup chopped pecans.
Make sure to let the frosting sit for a few minutes to cool before frosting the cake.
