San Diego Day 4

Today we went to Lego Land!  The kids had a blast and honestly hubby and I enjoyed it also.  All of the lego statues were amazing, the amount of detail they put into building them is insane.  I can't even imagine how many hours were spent designing and then putting them together.

A few tips:
Select rides open at 9 so get there early and do those before the crowds hit.
Once all the rides are open start at the back of the park and work your way forward, lines are much shorter.
This park is geared for kids up to about 12 years old so if your kids are older I would skip it.
Wear good shoes, you will walk A LOT.  We spent 9 hrs in the park.
Skip the water park (we did the whole thing in about 2 hours... not a whole lot there)
Make sure to take Lego men for your kiddos to trade!

A couple complaints:
They really should have someone to power wash the statues every so often.  They are so great to look at and took a lot of time to build but many are covered in dirt and cobwebs.
For five people our lunch was $71!!!  That was insane even for a theme park.

Here are a few pictures from our super fun day!
