Sadly, our vacation has come to an end. We woke up SUPER early to catch our 5:15 a.m. flight back to Dallas. The flight went smoothly and we were able to nap a bit. When we had landed, and were getting off the plane we found out Belle had been sitting beside an agent, which was kind of neat.
Once we had our bags, we caught the shuttle back to the hotel to get our van. After we had our van we ran through Panera Bread to grab some breakfast and then headed over to Ikea. I needed two more chairs to go with our dining room table and we also needed some barstools so this seemed like the perfect time to grab them. No reason to make another trip to Dallas! Isabelle got bored while we were looking around so Phillip checked her into the daycare, the boys sadly were too tall and had to shop with us.
By the time, we left Ikea it was lunch time so we stopped at one of our favorite places to eat in Dallas, The Cheesecake Factory! The food is so delicious and the portions are huge. Phillip and I each got one of our favorites and then just split it. Our reasoning was that this way we could have them both. I also got a Lemon Drop Martini. I had never had one before but it was so nice and light and refreshing.

I hope that you enjoyed hearing about our vacation. Some of my favorite memories as a kid were when we traveled. I would encourage you to take trips with your kiddos they don’t have to be extravagant or far away, they just have to be quality time spent together.
